Leicester Square Casino Restaurant 4,4/5 956 reviews

A little north of Leicester Square, you will suddenly feel as though you are in a distant and exotic place. Chinatown is bustling with authentic restaurants and shops, and colourful decorations. Originally home to Maltese and Huguenot immigrants, the Chinatown that exists today was formed in the 1950s after a handful of Chinese restaurants opened. For as long as I can remember, the Hippodrome on the corner of Leicester Square has been a Casino. But, that’s not how it started out, in 1900 when it first opened as a circus and variety show theatre. A 2-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus tube station, and a 4-minute walk from Leicester Square tube station. Full venue capacity of 600 standing and 400 seated Our Beaufort room with a capacity of 300 standing and 150 seated, suitable for any occasion.
