The $5 million World Poker Tour (WPT) Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown played down to the final 18 players on Monday, leaving Ryan Rivers as the last Canadian still competing for a spot in the WPT Champions Club.

Three Canadians made it through Day 2, with John Krpan leading the Canadian contingent with 670,000 chips to start the day. Ryan Chamas and Ryan Rivers rounded out the Canadians, coming back on Day 3 with 360,000 and 299,000 chips respectively.

By the end of Day 3, only Rivers was left standing to wave the red and white, finishing the day with over 3,000,000 in chips. Top Canadian from Day 2, John Krpan, was the first Canadian to bust Monday, finishing the tournament in 70th place for a cash of $10,250. Ryan Chamas made it a little farther, cashing out for $18,600 in 35th place.

At the end of Day 3, the person bagging the largest stack was Eli Levy, sitting on a massive stack of 6,285,000. The only other player over 6 million chips is Griffin Paul with 6,055,000. Canada's Rivers sits fourth going into the final 18, which also includes notable players like Mohsin Charania (1,435,000), Cornel Cimpan (1,100,000), and Dan Heimiller (500,000).
